Bear

Skyler had his Cub Scout Pack Meeting on Thursday, and he was so proud. He earned his bear and three silver arrows. (Ten achievements earn one arrow.)

Scouting has been a confusing mystery to me thus far, but I am trying to understand it and help Skyler stay on top of it. We have been working hard. The look on his face at that pack meeting was all the compensation that I will ever need. He was so proud. What a good boy.

Well, I need to go back to being a good hostess to my in-laws now. So far I have made them two edible dinners and none of the kids have said or done anything too embarrassing. But don’t worry, the night is young.
