Sugar

I told Shaylin that my Mom and Dad used to call my brother, Cody, “Chocolate Eyes” and me “Sweet Tart” (because apparently sometimes I wasn’t that sweet). Shaylin loved the idea of having candy nicknames, so she has been working on coming up with them for all of our kids.

Skyler is “Tootsie Roll” because he is tall and skinny. Macey is “Muffin” because she is messy when she eats (like a muffin, I guess). And Sawyer is “Chocolate Bear” because he didn’t like being called “Brownie”.

Shaylin’s nickname keeps changing. She can’t make up her mind. She has called herself Cookie, Lollipop, Tic-Tac, Sucker (that one was Skyler’s idea), Bubble Gum and Smarty. Currently she is Sugar. She is really insisting that we call everyone by their new nickname. It’s getting pretty confusing.
