Carnival

Skyler and Shaylin’s school had their Annual Halloween Carnival this week. We all dressed up and went. It was really fun. My mom was visiting, so we made her dress up and come with us. Each of the three big kids had their own grown-up to drag around all night while they went anywhere they wanted. They loved it.

There were a lot of donated door prizes at the carnival. Skyler won a $50 savings bond from a bank in town. Shaylin won a board game. Sawyer won a cheap, plastic yo-yo. They each thought that they had won the best prize in the whole world.

By the way, Skyler also won a Little Mermaid coloring book. He was mortified when I MADE him go up to the stage to get it and say thank you. He spent the rest of the night telling everyone he saw that he gave it to his baby sister.
